In April 2023, Valeriia Filinovych, associate professor of the Civil Law and Trial Department of the Faculty of Law, held a lecture-dispute on the topic "Social partnership. Collective agreement".
During the event, the lecturer told the seekers of higher education about the phenomenon of social partnership as an interaction of parties based on their independence and equality. Yes, it is an alternative to various abuses in the labor sphere and is an effective means of solving social conflicts based on compromise, mutual concessions, and peaceful cooperation. Valeriia Filinovych also revealed to the students the essence of the collective agreement, and the peculiarities of its conclusion and modifications, paying special attention to the content of such a document.
At the end of the interactive session, the student youth gladly joined the discussion with the professor, in particular, they were extremely interested in the issues of the parties' responsibility for the non-fulfillment of the collective agreement and the unwillingness of the relevant subjects to act within the framework of social partnership.
Such events are not only interesting, but also practical, both for students of higher education and teachers themselves, as they provide an opportunity to hear different, sometimes even opposing opinions, as well as contribute to the professional training of students and help them decide on their professional future.
