April 18, 2013 the lecturer of the department of the air, space, and environmental law Nazariy Malyarchuk and students Kotsyuba Ilya, Christine Shirokova held a lecture on “The legal state as a guarantor of compliance of human rights in the society” in the secondary school number 222 in Kyiv under the professional orientation work of the Law Institute.
During the meeting high school students in more detail familiarized with the concept of the legal state, its features, the basic theories of the origin and functions of the state, the social norms and law as a special kind of social norms, characteristics, functions and sources of law, and considered some aspects of the realization of the legal state in Ukraine and its features as a guarantor of the compliance basic democratic principles and human rights in society. Conducting of such professional orientation measures in secondary schools of I-III degree promotes the formation of effective strategies of the behavior in the youth in the labor market, motivates to conscious action for the choice of the profession, future training and employment.
