"Assembly Day is a reminder that the strength of our state lies in the unity of the Ukrainian people. National unity is a prerequisite for successful resistance to external aggression. It was a difficult and tragic path for Ukraine to create its state: millions of tortured, brutally killed, starved to death; gymnasium students near Kruty, "shot revival", Gulag prisoners, "Heavenly Hundred", heroes of the Ilovai Kotel and Debaltsevo, cyborgs of Donetsk airport, Heroes and Heroines of the Russian-Ukrainian war...", noted Svitlana Golovko, professor of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law.
Those present observed a moment of silence in memory of defenders who gave their lives for Ukraine, among them students, teachers, and graduates of NAU.
During the competition, the participants demonstrated their ability to deliver speeches, recite poems, and emotionally present their works. Their talents were evaluated by the jury: Svitlana Timkina - vice-rector for humanitarian policy and innovations of NAU; Volodymyr Nikitin - acting dean of the Faculty of Law (chairman of the jury), deputy deans of the Faculty of Law Yuliya Yurynets and Nina Trotsyuk; Head of the Theory and History of the State and Law Department Olena Makeeva; Daria Matviyeva, head of the Student Council of dormitory #13.
