On the 15th of February, 2023, the Faculty of Law held a methodical seminar for the heads and mentors of academic groups on the topic "Teacher - student: formation of an effective communication system".
The event was attended by: the Acting Dean Volodymyr Nikitin, the Deputy Dean for Educational and Organizational Work Nina Trotsyuk, the Head of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law and the Senior Mentor Olena Makeeva, the Head of the Educational and Scientific Laboratory of Pedagogical Excellence and Quality Monitoring of Higher Education, psychology teacher at the Faculty of Linguistics and Social Communications of NAU, trainer and coach Elina Glavinska, mentors and heads of academic groups of the Faculty of Law and students of the Faculty of Linguistics and Social Communications.
"Today, the ability to communicate and achieve the set goal through communication is a necessity, and both teachers and students should possess effective communication skills in the conditions of distance learning," said the Acting Dean Volodymyr Nikitinat the beginning of the event.
During the methodical seminar, the issue of forming an effective environment of teacher-student communication in the conditions of informatization of education was discussed, the communication culture and ways to overcome communicative conflicts were considered, and the problems that arise during teacher-student communication were outlined.
Invited coach Elina Glavinska shared with those present the secrets of effective communication in the educational space and gave valuable advice to the participants, highlighting three main forms of communication interaction between the teacher and students: individual, group, mass. "Different levels of communication between the teacher and students require enrichment of channels, ways and means of communication in the conditions of distance learning," the psychologist noted.
Summing up the results of the methodical seminar, Olena Makeeva noted that a modern teacher should have various methods of communication with students in his arsenal, and if necessary, he can successfully use various types of communication channels, means and methods for effective communication with the aim of forming the future legal elite of Ukraine.
