On December 15, 2022, on the occasion of the celebration of the All-Ukrainian Law Week, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law Liudmyla Shapenko together with the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Law Albina Sharko conducted a legal quiz "Administrative Liability of Minors" among high school students of school No. 308 of Desnianskyi district of Kyiv.
This event was held with the aim of deepening knowledge about the rights and duties of man and citizen, popularization of legal laws, formation of legal outlook and legal culture, as well as education of the younger generation respect for the law, awareness of its role and value in modern life.
The competition was held in three rounds, in each of which the students demonstrated their knowledge of jurisprudence, in particular awareness of the responsibility of minors and administrative influence on them for committing administrative offenses. The most interesting was the third round, in which the finalists had the opportunity to make a speech on the topic: "The role of the state in the development of civil society" and argue their own point of view on the problems and prospects of the rule of law and civil society in Ukraine.
According to the results of three rounds, the winners were Roman Boklan (I place), Maria Harkusha (II place) and Lisa Korzh (III place).
At the end of the meeting, the most intelligent participants were awarded diplomas, and the teachers were thanked on behalf of the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law Volodymyr Nikitin for their significant contribution to the training of competent and responsible youth, as well as active cooperation and organization of legal events among high school students.
