In December 2022, the final meeting of the scientific group "Jurist" was held at the Faculty of Law, whose participants are 1st year students.
The head of the scientific group Natalia Pilgun proposed for discussion the topic "Scientific and cognitive information about the libraries of Kyiv. Acquaintance with the requirements of writing abstracts for international and all-Ukrainian conferences and writing scientific articles".
The teacher focused on the fact that in Kyiv there are national, state and central libraries, where every reader can receive library, bibliographic and information services free of charge. Also discussed was the question of what is a scientific conference, its purpose and structure, disclosed types of conferences such as: scientific and practical, theoretical, international and all-Ukrainian. Particular attention was paid to the issue of designing the texts of abstracts, reports and scientific articles.
Students Kateryna Kebkal, Diana Koval, Diana Zarytska shared their impressions on the preparation for writing scientific abstracts, which were tested at the All-Ukrainian Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Aero - 2022. Air and Space Law". Applicants for higher education paid attention to the careful study and analysis of available information sources, text formatting, references and bibliography.
With great interest, the members of the scientific group also listened to the speech of the student Natalia Plis, who, in co-authorship with the teacher, is working on writing a scientific article. The applicant noted the literacy, uniqueness, novelty, which should be supported by a scientific basis when writing a scientific paper. At the same time, she revealed her interest in writing a professional article and pointed to the fruitful results that she received in this process.
"The participation of students in the process of scientific work and their speeches at the meetings of the scientific circle give them the opportunity to improve their legal literacy, uniqueness as future lawyers through the study, analysis of thematic and legal information, and thus deepen their knowledge as creative personalities", summing up the results of the meeting, noted Natalia Pilgun.
