The audience involved the 1st year students and future school leavers, namely: Specialized school of I-III degrees with in-depth study of the Ukrainian language and literature No. 260 of Kyiv; Communal institution "Velyka Dymerka Lyceum" of Brovary district, Kyiv oblast; Stavyshche educational complex "Institution of General Secondary Education of I-III degrees-pedagogical lyceum No1" of Stavyshche Village Council of Bila Tserkva district, Kyiv oblast, the Legal Lyceum of Stavyshche educational complex "Institution of General Secondary Education of I-III degrees - Legal Lyceum No2" named after O.S. Palanskyi of Stavyshche Village Council of Bila Tserkva district, Kyiv oblast.
Highly qualified lawyer, multifaceted and harmonious personality, Olexandra Paramonova, became an authoritative guest and an interesting interlocutor of the meeting.
It was said that the legal profession was one of the oldest because it appeared along with the emergence of the state and law and had always played an extremely important role in formation and development of the state. From time immemorial, lawyers have acted as an advanced sociopolitical community, which, thanks to a deep understanding of legal processes, had a decisive influence on administrative, political, economic and social spheres of life. Today, this profession has changed, trying to meet the needs of the modern world. Due to rapid development of information technology, non-professionals have an opportunity to quickly access a huge amount of legal information, various free legal blogs and portals, where they are provided with necessary explanations, formalization and interpretation of laws and legal acts.
Young people had many questions to ask. What is the prospect of such social phenomena? Are there any modern standards for a lawyer’s professional activity? What are the features of a modern lawyer’s work? What is the role of moral demands that are put forward to lawyers nowadays? What factors will influence the legal profession in the coming years? These and other questions were willingly answered by Ms. Oleksandra, with whom topical and problematic issues of practical activity of a modern lawyer were discussed, and its features and prospects were outlined.
The final word was given to Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Ph.D., Associate Professor Olena Makeieva, who encouraged the students to enter the Law Faculty of the National Aviation University and demonstrated a video about the institution’s activities.
