On November 18, 2022, the Faculty of Law held a round table "Modern vectors of the development of space law of Ukraine", timed to the 25th anniversary of the flight into space of the first cosmonaut of independent Ukraine, Leonid Kadenyuk.
The scientific event was moderated by Inna Polishchuk, a senior lecturer at the Department of Economic, Air and Space Law.
Students of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Transport, Management and Logistics of NAU took part in the round table; scientific and pedagogical workers.
In the speeches of students Artem Pasichnyk, Yulia Slavita, Oleg Kovini, Volodymyr Kopytsa, Olga Konovalyuk and scientists, Leonid Kadenyuk's significant contribution to the development of the space industry of Ukraine and national space law was revealed, revealed stages of the formation of the image of our state as a space state, the prospects of future space projects for Ukraine are analyzed.
The problematic issues of the legal status of an astronaut, the demarcation of air and outer space, the safety of space use and the latest technologies caused a discussion among the participants, which will certainly find its continuation in the scientific research of higher education students and scientific and pedagogical workers.
After watching the presentation and the film "Space Mission", the students of higher education noted that every Ukrainian should remember the heroes of their country and be proud of them.
For the fifth year in a row, the National Aviation University honors the memory of Leonid Kadenyuk and believes that this figure will remain in our history, and the state and civil society will always be proud of his achievements.
