On November 25, 2022, the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference of young scientists and applicants for higher education “Aero-2022. Air and Space Law" was held online at the Faculty of Law of NAU.
This year the conference took place in the framework of six panel discussions: historical and legal aspects of the formation and development of the aerospace industry; implementation of international civil aviation standards in national legislation; criminal liability and prevention of criminal offenses in the transport sector; aviation sector as a subject of civil law regulation; current trends in the development of air and space law; economic and space activities: the ratio of content, order, and features of implementation.
The work of the panels was successful and productive, as students actively joined the discussion of the importance of improving the legislative framework for the regulation of civil aviation in Ukraine, the role of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation in coordinating and managing air traffic in Europe, the impact of the activities of the International Air Transport Association IATA on the development Ukrainian civil aviation, ensuring the safety of passengers during transportation in civil aviation, the development of the aviation industry during the war, the information security of civil aviation, and the like.
A significant part of the reports of applicants for higher education was made in English, which indicates a high level of training of future lawyers in the English-language project of the Faculty of Law. English-language presentations dealt with such issues as: the improvement of legal regulation of air transport contracts; features of conducting judicial aviation and transport expertise; resumption of the provision of services for air navigation support in the airspace of Ukraine; conclusion of agreements in the field of aviation to move to a new level of relations between Ukraine and other states.
