On October 20, 2022, Svitlana Holovko, professor of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Law Faculty, held an online career guidance meeting with the senior pupils of the “Prestige” Lyceum on the topic “An advocate is a profession, a vocation, a duty”.
The purpose of the career guidance event is to popularize the main legal professions, in particular the job of a lawyer.
Students were introduced to the peculiarities of advocacy and its main types: provision of legal information and consultations, drafting of procedural and other legal documents, representation of clients' interests in courts, etc. The issue of the necessity and duty of citizens to comply with the Laws of Ukraine, regarding the conscious choice of future educational-professional activities by senior pupils of a comprehensive educational institution was discussed.
As part of the meeting, participants were invited to view a presentation prepared by students of the Faculty of Law, which aroused great interest among future applicants (http://law.nau.edu.ua/uk/morenews/1278-video2).
