On October 7, 2022, Svitlana Holovko, professor of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Faculty of Law, held a career orientation thematic online meeting with students of the Rivne Professional College of Economics and Business.
The career orientation event on the topic “In the world of legal professions” was aimed at actualizing the professional choice of students of higher education institutions of the I-II level of accreditation, clarifying their motivation for the future profession and career growth. The students discussed the peculiarities of the legal professions of prosecutors and lawyers in independent Ukraine, the question of the need and obligation of citizens to comply with the Laws of Ukraine in accordance with the principle of the rule of law which is equality of all before the law.
During the career orientation meeting, students also got acquainted with the history of the creation, development, and activity of National Aviation University and the Faculty of Law, the activities of student self-government bodies, the specifics of training future lawyers, the organization of the educational process and the peculiarities of studying at the English project.
“Graduates of the Faculty of Law have significant success in their practical activities and work in state authorities, courts, prosecutor's offices, and law enforcement agencies and successfully practice law. Every month, our alumni stakeholders meet with higher education graduates and share their experiences inside and outside the university. Such close cooperation is evidence that the Faculty of Law of National Aviation University is a big family, where every student is not deprived of attention and has the opportunity to develop as a person. The Faculty of Law sincerely thanks the director of the college, Vasyl Romanchuk, for his help in organizing the educational event.
