In accordance with the letter of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine dated September 16, 2022 No. 1/10855-22 "On the celebration of the Day of Struggle with the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol in 2023", which by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 58 of February 26, 2020, the Student Council of the Faculty of Law was established Communities with the scientific society of students and postgraduates and the student council of dormitory № 13 of the NAU. The campus held a workshop on the topic "Chronology of events" on October 12, 2022, the occupation of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
After watching a meaningful presentation prepared by the head of the Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates, Nadia Zakharchuk, students of higher education were introduced to the chronology of the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
"History is a kaleidoscope of events. Sometimes it is not easy to stop and remember, restore in memory their time, sequence, duration. The tool of the Virtual Museum of Russian Aggression, which everyone can visit in their free time from school, will help cope with this task. This project was created in 2014 with the aim of accumulating the achievements of state authorities, public initiatives and international organizations in documenting the course and consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine for presentation in a modern and accessible form to the widest possible interested audience. The museum is constantly updated with events that point to the worthlessness of the documents issued by the occupation authorities," said Sofia Tkachuk
Concluding the event, members of the student self-government of dormitory №13 showed a video of the occupation of not only the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, but also other territories of Ukraine that are currently occupied by the actions of the aggressor country.
The organizers thanked the participants for participating in the legal education event, which is aimed at raising the level of legal awareness of Ukrainian youth, is a system-forming factor of a legal democratic state and an important strategic factor in the process of integrating modern Ukrainian society into the European legal space.
