On September 12, 2022, scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculty of Law, together with the dean of the faculty Iryna Sopilko, took part in an online conference on the topic "Entry campaign 2022: the effectiveness of the work of authorized institutions of higher education (HEIs)", which was organized by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC).
The following addressed the participants with welcoming words: Oleg Sharov, Director General of the Directorate of Vocational Pre-University and Higher Education, Yuliya Lomzhets, Head of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine, Serhiy Derkach, Head of the Department of Prevention and Detection of Corruption of the NAKC, Chairman of the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine, Rector of the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and of architecture, doctor of economic sciences, professor Petro Kulikov and others.
During the speeches, the speakers summarized the results of the NAKC pilot project on the analysis of corruption risks of the 2022 election campaign. The experts, in turn, noted that admission based on a letter of motivation is a highly corrupt segment.
During the discussion, the participants exchanged opinions on the minimization of corruption risks during the introductory campaign among authorized persons.
The conference ended with a training on the effectiveness of the work of anti-corruption officials with higher education applicants on the prevention of corruption in higher education institutions.
