On June 17, 2022, the Research Center for Anti-Corruption Activities in the Transport and Aerospace Sphere of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University held an expert public discussion "Mechanism for Combating Corruption in the Transport Sphere".
Scientists and practical specialists in the field of anti-corruption activities joined the discussion, in particular: Inna Bilous - Judge of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine, Olga Bondarenko - Doctor of Law, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Judiciary (Sumy State University), Andriy Klymosyuk - lawyer-analyst, research and teaching staff and graduates of the faculty.
Olga Bondarenko revealed the peculiarities of the introduction of the "Way" system, which is an effective means of reducing corruption risks during martial law. The speaker stressed that the system needs significant improvement and expressed a vision on how to overcome its shortcomings.
Andriy Klymosyuk drew the participants' attention to the peculiarities of conducting anti-corruption expertise of normative legal acts in the field of transport, emphasizing the importance of its conduct, as anti-corruption expertise is an effective preventive means of combating corruption. "Currently, the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure is one of the leaders in the least number of corrupt bills," the speaker said.
Judge of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine Inna Bilous expressed her expert opinion on the problematic issues of consideration of criminal corruption offenses in the transport sphere, emphasizing the importance of preventing corruption in the transport sphere under martial law, because our victory depends on quality logistics.
