On May 19, 2022, as part of the V International Youth Scientific Legal Forum dedicated to the Day of Science at the Faculty of Law, a workshop was held on "National Security Issues Against the Unpredictability of Institutional Reforms."
The speaker and a moderator of the event was Olena Margineanu – PhD in Law Sciences, Associate Professor of the Free International University of Moldova.
Ms. Olena presented the topic of national security in the implementation of international environmental policy, and involved her students with their speeches. Thus, Alexandra Efros acquainted the participants with the principles and basis of modern law enforcement in the Republic of Moldova, as well as students Denise Sezer and Stanislav Cibari presented abstracts on international and national views on the problem of same-sex marriage. Vilena Kauta and Dana Cheban demonstrated the results of their own research on the death penalty and violations of fundamental rights to life.
Applicants for higher education at the Faculty of Law actively participated in the discussion, asking questions to the speakers, as well as presenting their reports. Thus, Margarita Hryhorenko made a report, revealing the pressing issues of modern Ukraine as a rule of law and violation of its rights to free existence. Moreover Yana Temchenko outlined the role, importance and functions of the Ombudsman in modern Ukraine.
