On the 3 of May, 2022, an online meeting was held for first-year graduates of the Faculty of Law with a stakeholder, a 2011 graduate of the NAU Law Institute, a practicing lawyer, founder and head of Molodid & Partners Law Firm, 2015 Young Lawyer of the Year by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Young Legal Adviser 2018 according to the Association of Advocates of Ukraine Vladislav Molodid.
The speaker covered the topic "Formation, development and risks of legal practice", which revealed the stages of formation from law student to lawyer-practitioner. The participants' attention is focused on such important details as: forming a resume, planning and strategy for the development of a future lawyer, practical experience and choosing a direction in the field of jurisprudence.
At the end of the event, the stakeholder conducted a conversation with students in a question-answer format, the subject of which was the question of separating practical law from the law business. Vladislav shared with students his personal experience of forming and implementing the idea of creating a separate personal law firm, challenges and personal results.
"Before deciding to open my own law firm, I already had some practical experience, because as a final year student I already worked as an assistant of lawyer. My practical experience was five or more court hearings for a week in that time. After gaining legal experience for more than two years, forming a client base and recognition in the field of legal services, I decided to create my own law firm" said Mr. Vladislav.
