During January 2022, the Training Laboratory of Methodological Support of the Educational Process of the Faculty of Law hosted an annual thematic exhibition dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic.
The event was attended by researchers and pedagogical workers, first-year students of the faculty, as well as a senior researcher at the Department of Social Education of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Ph.D. Petro Moroz.
"On January 22, 1919, a long-awaited unification of Ukrainians took place in Kyiv, divided for centuries by the two empires of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, and the creation of a united Ukraine. In those difficult times, during the war, before the threat of foreign invasion, Ukrainians on both banks of the Zbruch found strength for unity and cohesion, as evidenced by the Act of Unification. The celebration of the Day of Unity of Ukraine is extremely important today and one of the most important memorable days for our country. The challenges facing Ukraine again motivate all of us to unite for a common goal - to defend the idea of unity, unity and territorial integrity of our state, "said Svitlana Golovko, Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law.
An exposition of scientific and educational publications, which set out the history of the selfless struggle of the Ukrainian people for freedom, unity and a bright future were presented to first-year students.
"Today we, Ukrainians, continue to fight for independence, unity, peace and tranquility in our country, as the famous Kobzar wrote," in his house is his truth, strength and will! ", said Petro Moroz at the end of the event.
