"It has become a tradition for the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University to cooperate with the Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine in the framework of scientific events, which unite leading scientists, government officials, lawyers, young scientists, graduate students and students of leading Ukrainian universities. The topic of the discussion panel is quite relevant today, because the main problem in the protection of human rights in the event of a pandemic in Ukraine is the inconsistency of the current regulatory framework, which establishes quarantine and regulates restrictions. The purpose of restricting the rights and freedoms during the pandemic is clear - it is to preserve the health and life of the nation, but the means used by the state create conflicts in the law, "said Dean of the Faculty of Law Irina Sopilko.
During the scientific event the participants considered: problems of labor rights protection in Ukraine; human rights: guarantees and realities; constitutional complaint as a national remedy for human rights; problems of realization of the right to education in the conditions of a pandemic; state borders in restricted human rights during the Covid-19 pandemic; access to justice under quarantine restrictions: achievements and challenges; constitutionality of lockdown; the legitimacy of human rights restrictions related to compulsory vaccination; grounds for release in quarantine, etc.
