On December 10, 2021, on the occasion of the All-Ukrainian Law Week, Associate Professor of the Civil Law and Trial Department Ganna Grabovska and students of the Faculty of Law held a webinar for the students of the school №67 in Kyiv on the topic "Our law is our strength."
The purpose of the event is to expand the system of theoretical views on the rights of the child, to form an active position of children in realizing themselves and their rights in life, to raise legal awareness.
At the beginning of the online meeting (Google Meet platform), Anna Grabovskaya noted that this event takes place exactly when International Human Rights Day is celebrated all over the world. “Our state is part of a democratic world where the rule of law, respect for human rights, democracy, and rule of law reign,” she said. Anna in her report revealed the relationship between the rights and obligations of a person and a citizen, discussed with young people several other issues related to the protection of human rights in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Second-year students of PR-202B Anastasia Lysyuk, Elizaveta Khomusko, Anzhelika Shepetko prepared a presentation that helped high school students to theoretically perceive information about the mechanisms of the citizens of Ukraine exercising the right to judicial protection and free legal aid.
At the end of the event, future graduates were provided with information about the activities and training of specialists in the field of law at the Faculty of Law and discussed with the school leadership prospects for further cooperation.
