“One of the tasks of the Commissioner for Gender Equality Policy is to monitor the legislation in the field of gender policy, to conduct gender and legal examination of draft laws and their normative analysis. Thus, in 2021 we analyzed more than 3,000 regulations and made changes to 54 of them. It should also be noted that Ukraine currently actively participates in world programs and programs of the G7 countries. Reducing violence, wages, equal rights in education, improving men's rights in matters of fatherhood - these are the main activities of the Ukrainian legislator in the implementation of gender policy and European integration of Ukraine, "said Ms. Kateryna.
The staff of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University expresses its sincere gratitude to Kateryna Levchenko for the meeting and many years of legislative work in the field of gender policy in Ukraine.
