One of the areas of cooperation of higher education institutions of Ukraine is to involve leading specialists of institutions (stakeholders) in conducting classes at the University. Thus, on November 24, 2021, a meeting was held for first-year students of “Master” educational degree of the Faculty of Law with the Head of the Organizational Work Department of the Personnel Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv Andriy Lytvynchuk.
Andriy Lytvynchuk focused the students on the peculiarities of selection of Ukrainian citizens for the service, told about the specifics of service in different police units, police structure, requirements for patrol officers, police and public cooperation, provided statistics on the crime situation in the Ukrainian capital.
“Due to the aggression against Ukraine, the state of the criminogenic situation in the capital requires an effective response. A real step towards creating a system of security and crime prevention in the city of Kyiv should be further improvement of the city’s targeted comprehensive program of crime prevention and counteraction in Kyiv “Safe Capital” for 2019-2021 in accordance with current realities and Kyiv City Development Strategy until 2025, approved by the decision of the Kyiv City Council of December 15, 2011 №824/7060”, said the guest.
Cooperation with stakeholders allows solving the problem of professional training of future specialists in the field of jurisprudence, to combine theory and practice in the organization of the educational process at the Faculty of Law of NAU.
