In November 2021, the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law conducted a career guidance interview (online) with 11th grade students of the Ivan Franko Specialized School of I-III Grades №92 in Kyiv.
The head of the department Sofia Lykhova, graduate student Diana Maistro together with 4th year students Victoria Kirichenko and Irina Osadchenko acquainted future entrants with the specifics of training students in the specialty "Law Enforcement".
"When we talk about the legal profession, many people mean working in law enforcement, the judiciary or advocacy. However, professional lawyers are often in demand in the police system, human rights organizations, the social sphere, the field of combating domestic violence, the border service, and public order units, ”the head of state stressed.
Viktoriya Kyrychenko and Iryna Osadchenko, answering high school students' questions about the peculiarities of higher education at the Faculty of Law, noted that in addition to high qualification, law enforcement officers also need honesty, competence, resilience, and a willingness to abide by the law. “The Faculty of Law trains specialists with such a set of professional and personal qualities. Graduates of the faculty will always be in demand in the labor market not only in their country, but also abroad, "said the students.
