On November 11, 2021, the Department of Economic, Air and Space Law of the Faculty of Law held a scientific and methodological seminar on "Modern requirements for lectures in terms of distance learning".
The topical issues of organizing the educational process in a pandemic, the possibility of diversifying methods of working with students online, the use of various technical means and online content are discussed.
The seminar was attended by experienced lecturers from foreign and domestic higher education institutions: Doctor of Law, Associate Professor Alexander Pastukhov (University of Malta), Director of the Institute of Air and Space Law, Professor Stefan Hobe (University of Cologne, Germany), Doctor habilitated, Assistant Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Joanna Osiewicz (University of Warsaw, Poland), Professor Nina Daraganova (Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics), Professor Iryna Vasylkivska (Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman), Associate Professor Olga Podilchak (Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics), as well as research and teaching staff of the department.
The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to share their own experience in organizing the educational process on a distance basis, ways to establish communication with students. The subject of discussion was the search for the most effective forms of lectures on legal disciplines online, as well as their scientific component.
The problem raised during the discussion and the suggestions made encouraged each of the research and teaching staff to search for new methods of working online and to diversify them.
