On October 21, 2021, the head of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure Sofia Lykhova and 4th year student Iryna Osadchenko conducted an online career guidance lesson for students of 11-A class of the Ukrainian College. V.O. Sukhomlynskoho № 272 Kyiv.
"Today, it is very important to choose a profession that would take into account the young person's own interests, inclinations and abilities, the desire to acquire knowledge, as well as the state of health and needs in the labor market. Our goal is to help young people decide on the profession of their dreams, motivate you to build a successful career and realize yourself in the country, "said Sofia Likhova in her introductory speech.
Students were invited to view a presentation that reveals the features and benefits of studying at the Faculty of Law of NAU. Iryna Osadchenko made an interesting journey into the world of criminology, where in the educational and scientific forensic laboratory they were shown the means of detecting criminal offenses, modern methods of identifying the offender, the latest forensic techniques and modern criminological examinations.
High school students also visited the training laboratory for methodological support of the educational process, equipped with modern computers, which allows higher education students to have access to any scientific and educational materials, court cases, court decisions.
"During the lesson, we paid attention to the equipment of the Faculty of Law, and the opportunities provided by the legal profession. The answers to numerous questions of students testify to their interest in the specialty "Law" and understanding of the broad prospects that this profession will provide them as future highly qualified professionals, "said the head of the department.
