On September 30, Deputy Head of the Laboratory of Educational and Scientific Work of the State Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Daria Gurina visited the groups PO-206 and PO-207 of the Faculty of Law.
The expert told the applicants about the types of research conducted in the State Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, current opportunities for forensic activities and prospects for its development.
According to Daria Gurina, the research potential of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is represented by 1 main and 24 territorial divisions, which are equipped with modern high-tech equipment, which allows more than 70 types of forensic examinations involving more than 4 thousand qualified person. Specialists of the expert service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine conduct forensic examination in criminal, executive proceedings, administrative, civil and commercial cases, cases of administrative offenses. In addition, in accordance with the established procedure, specialists of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs take part in investigative (search) actions.
Due to the fact that students receive education in the specialty "Law Enforcement", such information is directly related to their future profession.
At the end of the report, the head of the laboratory answered the questions of the audience, which mainly concerned certain aspects of the examination procedure.
