On April 8, 2021, the Department of Economic, Air and Space Law of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University held a scientific-practical seminar on the topic: "International legal regulation of air transportation: realities and prospects."
Representatives of state organizations and institutions of higher education of Ukraine took part in the work of the scientific event, in particular: Vice-Rector for Organizational and Security Activities of the National Aviation University, Doctor of Law - Serhiy Yuldashev; Assistant Lawyer of Suprema Lex Law Firm - Yuriy Krasnopolsky; Maria Roschuk, Head of the Department for Collection, Processing, Analysis of Educational Information of the Department for Accreditation and Monitoring of the State Service for the Quality of Education of Ukraine; Associate Professor of Financial Law, University of State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Ph.D. - Oksana Slastyonenko; Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology, University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor - Anatoly Gavrilishin, as well as other research and teaching staff of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University.
During the seminar, the most acute problems in the work of airlines in modern conditions were discussed. And these are, first of all, problems connected with the pandemic caused by the coronavirus disease СOVID-19, the world economic crisis, the political situation in Ukraine. Scientists have considered in more detail the issues of improving the legal regulation of flight safety of civil aircraft; legal regulation of control of the flight safety management system; implementation of international multimodal air transportation and prospects for their development in Ukraine; implementation of the open skies concept in the EU, taking into account the COVID 19 pandemic; information and legal support of civil aviation flights, etc.
At the end of the event, the participants expressed hope that the conclusions and proposals formulated as a result of scientific discussions will be reflected both in further scientific developments and in the practical activities of airlines.
