The priority of the educational activity of the Faculty of Law is the participation of teachers in scientific activities. On April 20, 2021, Associate Professor of Theory and History of State and Law, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Olena Makeyeva took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Civil Society as a Factor of Modernization of the Modern State", which took place by video conference.
The event was organized by the Center for the Study of Legal Problems of Civil Society Development of the Kyiv Regional Center of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. The conference was attended by well-known legal scholars, as well as representatives of public authorities, scientific and educational institutions. Well-known scholars addressed the conference participants: Natalia Kuznetsova, Vice President and Head of the Kyiv Regional Center of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Natalia Onishchenko, Head of the Center for the Study of Legal Problems of Civil Society Development, and Vasyl Kostytsky, Chairman of the Ukrainian Lawyers Association. Well-known theorists and practitioners spoke during the event, discussing the problems of formation and development of civil society in Ukraine.
Scientific events of this level have an important cognitive value and contribute to improving the professional competence of teachers.
