From March 18 to April 1, 2021, the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Faculty of Law together with the practicing trader of the cryptocurrency exchange “Binance”, Candidate of Technical Sciences Oleg Kosovych for applicants of the second (master’s) level conducted a series of practical classes on “Legal regulation of cryptocurrency circulation in Ukraine”.
During the classes, students learned the basics of trading on the cryptocurrency exchange, the mechanism of withdrawal of cryptocurrency from the exchange and its fiat equivalent, gained visual experience of registration on the cryptocurrency exchange and activation of electronic cryptocurrency wallet, as well as practical skills in working with smart contracts and attracting financial resources through the placement of coins (ISO) in the Ukrainian economic conditions.
The future lawyers also had the opportunity to learn how to evaluate projects for the crowdfunding procedure and the legal risks in these processes. At the end of the event, the practicing trader spoke in detail about the joint program of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Stellar program, the main purpose of which is to determine the potential legal status of virtual assets and currencies in Ukraine.
