On February 26, 2021, in order to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ukrainian poet, playwright and public figure Lesya Ukrainka, researchers of Theory and History of State and Law Department and students of the Faculty of Law visited the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Russian Drama Theater.
Students of the academic group PR-201 accompanied by a mentor, associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Olena Makeyeva watched the play "Three Loves". The premiere of the play is timed to the anniversary of the birth of a prominent figure in the history of Ukrainian literature and drama, as well as the 80th anniversary of the Lesya Ukrainka Theater.
During the performance, students immersed themselves in the magical world of Lesya's poetry, reminisced about her life and literary achievements - impressive poems, prose works, poems, journalistic articles, translations of world classics. The future lawyers were impressed by the masterful acting, which conveyed the emotional expressiveness of the play, revealed the story of three loves, emphasized the strength of spirit and the subtle nature of the poet.
Carrying out this event together with students testifies to the indifferent attitude of the young generation to the historical past of our country, national consciousness and cognitive interest in prominent figures in the history of Ukrainian literature.
