On February 18, 2021, scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculty of Law of NAU took part in the First International Round Table on "Peculiarities of Investigation of Crimes Related to the Use of Explosive Materials: Forensic Aspects", organized online by the National Academy of Internal Affairs.
The event was joined by leading Ukrainian and international scientists, government officials and law enforcement agencies, who discussed the development and strengthening of cooperation between explosives specialists in Ukraine and Slovakia, legislation and conditions of transportation of dangerous goods, the current state of humanitarian demining in Ukraine, law enforcement and public relations. organizations on humanitarian demining, investigation of terrorist acts committed with the use of explosive materials, as well as other aspects of the fight against organized crime, improving the level of state security and the development of state policy in this area.
During the International Round Table with a report on "Peculiarities of Investigation of Crimes Committed in the Process of Storage and Utilization of Nuclear Fuel in Ukraine" Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law, Ph.D., Associate Professor Petro Bilenchuk, who revealed the features socially dangerous acts committed in the process of use and storage of nuclear fuel and stressed the high degree of public danger of such criminal offenses.
Based on the results of the video conference, the organizers plan to publish a collection of abstracts, which will be useful for teachers and applicants for higher education in the specialty 262 "Law Enforcement".
