The second part of the meeting was devoted to the topic of outstanding women scientists, dedicated to the International Day of Girls and Women in Science, which is traditionally celebrated every year in February. It was about the scientific activity of many modern Ukrainian women in science, in particular, the scientific contribution of Suslova Galina Andreevna (February 27, 1930 - November 26, 2020) in the development of civil aviation in Ukraine was discussed. The whole international aviation world knew and respected Halyna Andriivna. She has been an Honorary Professor at many world aviation universities, an expert of the International Civil Aviation Organization, an ICAO Standards Coordinator in Ukraine, an Honorary Member of the US Aviation and Cosmonautics Museum (Daytona) and a member of the World Association of Women who have made significant contributions to international civil aviation. Galina Andreevna is still an example of a woman in science, which combines reason and femininity. Halyna Andriivna's contribution to the development of civil aviation in Ukraine is invaluable, and the scientist herself is the pride of Ukraine.
The celebration of the International Day of Girls and Women in Science is extremely important in the rapidly developing new society, as it once again reminds of the availability and ability of women to conduct successful scientific activities and aims to achieve equal gender access to science and recognition of women's scientific contribution.
