January 29, 2021, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Process Ganna Grabovska organized a watching of the historical drama “Kruty. 1918 " to honor the memory of the Heroes of the Battle of Kruty.

Based on real events, the film demonstrates not only the tragedy of the battle of January 29, 1918 at the Kruty railway station between young military cadets of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Red Guard troops, but also the feat of young fighters for independence and freedom, which left an indelible mark on the history of the Ukrainian people. After all, the courage and disobedience of the spirit of Ukrainian youths became the personification of the beginning of a new era of national awakening, a manifestation of patriotism, true love for Ukraine, a model for all future generations.

At the end of the event, the students thanked the group mentor for organizing this event, which made it possible to analyze the history of the formation and development of Ukrainian statehood, reflect on the heroism and devotion of the then students to the national idea and realize this invaluable contribution to the establishment of the Ukrainian catholic state.
