4th year students of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Commercial, Air and Space Law presented to freshmen simulated court debates on December 16, 2020 to implement planned activities for the All-Ukrainian Law Week.

The speeches took place in the form of educational modeling of the court session of the commercial court in the case of commercial jurisdiction, in which students played the role of the parties and other participants in the economic and legal dispute. Students of PR-402b group - Lamia Hasanova, Kateryna Kuts, Polina Shevchenko, as well as PR-403b group - Lyudmyla Kolisnichenko and Natalia Cherkavska became active participants of court debates, who demonstrated a high level of knowledge and practical training.

The organizers and participants of the event noted the importance of modeling court hearings as one of the most effective of the interactive methods of acquiring professional practical competencies by law students. After all, the analysis of the practice of application of procedural law by commercial courts of Ukraine allows future bachelor's graduates to acquire practical skills of conducting cases in court and the ability to argue their own views in resolving commercial disputes.
