On December 22, 2020, in pursuance of the Work Plan of the Faculty of Law for 2020, the Department of Theory and History of State and Law held a binary lecture for 1st year master's students on the subject "Scientific foundations of lawmaking and legal technique" on the topic: "Current state and prospects of legal technique development in Ukraine".
The binary lecture was held with the aim of generalizing and systematizing students ' scientific knowledge in the field of law-making and legal technology, involving them in the thought process, as well as forming their skills in choosing the right position in conditions of pluralism of different points of view when solving the same legal problem. The modern form of the lecture session is organized with the participation of the leading teacher of the discipline, doctor of law, professor Rostislav Kalyuzhny and practicing lawyer, attorney of the Legal Alliance Law Association Andrey Dmitrenko.
During the discussion, the issues of the state and prospects of improving legal technology in Ukraine, theoretical and practical aspects of legal activity at the present stage of transformation of the legal system of Ukraine, the place of judicial practice in the law enforcement process and the problems of development of legal technology in the conditions of remote justice were discussed.
The activity of applicants for higher education, their interest in the topic under consideration and expressing their own opinion on the issues discussed on the topic confirms the importance of applying innovative methods of teaching legal disciplines, in particular the introduction of binary lectures, which are now an integral part of the European model of modern professional training and the basis for forming the competence and cultural potential of future masters of law.
