On January 15, 2021, the Faculty of Law of NAU took part in a round table on “Legislation of Ukraine on financial services: issues of adaptation to the law of the European Union”, organized in the framework of the project 619998-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO- MODULE “European standards for the protection of the rights of consumers of financial services” under the Erasmus+ program Jean Monnet on the basis of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Law of Sumy State University.
During the online event, topical issues of implementation of procedures for the provision of financial services, improvement of legal regulation of procedures for supervision of professional participants in financial services markets in the context of European integration, protection of financial services consumers taking into account international and domestic experience were discussed. The issues of regulating the circulation of cryptocurrency in Ukraine aroused special attention, lively and scientific discussion among the participants. In this regard, Iryna Ustynova, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Law Faculty of NAU, presented videos on the development of a new training course entitled “Legal regulation of cryptocurrency circulation in Ukraine”.
At the end of the round table, the scientific-pedagogical staff of the Faculty of Law thanked for the opportunity to make scientific reports and invited representatives of the scientific community to the IX International Scientific-Practical Conference “Modern Law in the Age of Social Change” to be held on February 26, 2021, at National Aviation University.
