On November 20, 2020 in the framework of the All-Ukrainian conference of young scientists and students “Aero-2020. Air and Space Law”the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty of Law held a section meeting on the topic “Theory and practice of space and air law development” online.
The event was attended by Joshua Yarumai, a representative of the Irish Aerospace Company in Shannon, Suchetа Raikovа, a graduate student at the School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University in India, Sultanie Musayeva, an associate professor at the Department of Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs. Kyiv, students and research and teaching staff of the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University.
The participants of the section meeting discussed the issues of legal regulation of the aerospace industry of Ukraine, state policy in the field of civil aviation security, control and supervision of space activities; theoretical and practical problematic aspects of space and air law, international cooperation at the current stage of development of the aerospace industry, prospects for regulating the prevention of space pollution and disposal of space debris, development of the aviation industry and air transportation in Ukraine, minimization of air accidents and their consequences, etc.
The conclusions of scientific reports allowed to form practical recommendations for the development of a strategic and systemic concept for the development of space and air law of Ukraine, as well as to identify promising areas of development of the domestic aviation industry.
