November 26, 2020, the Department of Civil Law and Process of the Faculty of Law organized an event for students of the PR-102b group, dedicated to the 87th anniversary of the memory of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933.
Holodomor Victims Remembrance Day is an annual national memorable day in Ukraine, established by presidential decree 1998 as a memorial date for the tragedy in the history of our state.
All the students of the group actively joined this event, in particular Polina Derechina, Angelica Shepetko, Daniil Smoligovets prepared a presentation on the topic: "The Holodomor of 1932-1933, as a tragedy that we remember to the present time", which reflects the socio-economic and political reasons and consequences of the mass Holodomor, as well as the political terror of the 30s of the twentieth century.
Also, a video about the tragic years of the Holodomor was brought to the attention of future lawyers, which demonstrated the history of the genocide of the Ukrainian nation and perpetuated the memory of millions of Ukrainian citizens who suffered as a result of the criminal policy of the communist Stalinist regime. Viewing these materials allowed everyone to realize the importance of preserving the memory of the terrible crime against the Ukrainian people, which would never be erased from the history of mankind.
