On November 25, 2020, in order to mark the 101st anniversary of the founding of the National Academic Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko, a presentation on the legendary history of the New Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko was held for students of the Faculty of Law.

The Ivan Franko Theater was founded in January 1920 in Vinnytsia by some actors of the Young Theater led by Hnat Yura and actors of the New Lviv Theater, headed at that time by Ambrose Buchma. Together, the artists formed a theater group called the "New Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko", the head of which was elected Gnat Yura.

Today, the Ivan Franko Theater has gained wide popularity not only in Ukraine but all over the world. As a full member of the International Theater Institute, its activities contribute to the popularization of Ukrainian theatrical art in many countries around the world.

The theater troupe is rightly considered the best in Ukraine. After all, the actors of the theater are famous artists: Vasyl Basha, Bohdan Benyuk, Oleksiy Bogdanovych, Anatoliy Hnatyuk, Iryna Doroshenko, Oleksandr Zadniprovsky, Volodymyr Kolyada, Oleksiy Petukhov, Ostap Stupka, Natalia Sumska, Anatoliy Hostikoyev, Halyna Yablonyuchayu and others. in theatrical productions of unsurpassed classics of Ukrainian literature, the hall is forced to freeze in delight.
