November 26, 2020 in the framework of the Plan of educational work of the Faculty of Law for 2020-2021 academic year. The Department of Theory and History of State and Law organized a meeting of first-year students with a lawyer, Justice Adviser Yegor Vorotynets.
Yegor Vorotintsev, having extensive experience in law enforcement, in particular as a prosecutor of the regional prosecutor's office, focused students on the specifics of prosecutorial activity, the special role of the prosecutor in public prosecution in court, his functions at various stages of pre-trial investigation and practical details of preparation for participation trial.
The practicing lawyer, providing useful advice to freshmen on mastering the skills of a lawyer, also highlighted the peculiarities of the legal profession, which is now based on the principles of legal ethics and common European standards of organization and functioning of the bar.
Interesting and informative topics of the meeting prompted students to join the discussion of the problems of professional and legal activities of lawyers in modern conditions and ask questions about the formation of professionalism in the field of jurisprudence.
