On November 18, 2020, the Department of Criminal Law and Process of the Faculty of Law organized a workshop for 4th year students with the participation of Daria Sinitsyna, a lawyer of the international transportation company Gunsel LLC.
This event was held in cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Gunsel, an external stakeholder that not only facilitates law students, but also actively participates in various activities to improve the quality of higher education.
During the online meeting, Daria Sinitsyna spoke about the peculiarities of legal work in an international transport company, as well as the requirements for future representatives of such activities. Especially useful were the instructions of a practicing lawyer, in which the central place was taken by the rules and skills dictated by the conditions of modern business and the vectors of development of the legal market. Thus, the main criteria for successful employment today are not only knowledge of national law and international law, but also the ability to build effective communication, manage projects and teams, organize their time and emotions, speak publicly, deliver reasoned speeches, motivate and lead.
Obtaining such soft skills from experienced craftsmen and high-class professionals who are well versed in the profession, allows you to expand your professional horizons, prepare for employment, as well as to reveal their own creative potential and professional abilities required in the field of law.
