On October 12, 2020, a meeting of the Mediation Center was held by video conference, dedicated to the professional holidays - the Day of the Education Worker and the Day of the Lawyer.
Yaroslava Manko, a student of the PR-305 group, opened the topic dedicated to the Day of the Education Worker, which is traditionally celebrated on the first Sunday of October. In her report and presentation she drew attention to the history of the teaching profession and its significance in modern society. In conclusion, Yaroslava on behalf of the students of the Faculty of Law congratulated all the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Faculty of Law on the Day of Educators and wished them inspiration and success in the difficult work of the teacher.
Yegor Mikov, a student of the PR-104 group, prepared a report and presentation on the topic "October 8 - Lawyer's Day". During his speech, he noted that the Lawyer's Day is the main professional holiday of the ministers of Themis. A holiday that unites lawyers from different fields of activity, who stand for the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens and work on the principle of "Know the law, serve the law, defend the law." For Ukrainian society, the importance of the legal profession is important, said Yegor, as lawyers are tasked with establishing the rule of law, improving Ukrainian legislation, strengthening legal guarantees to protect citizens and raising legal awareness and legal culture of Ukrainians.
Carrying out of such actions promotes not only prevention of offenses among youth, but also formation of cognitive interest to the future profession and legal culture of students.
