On September 22, 2020, the Faculty of Law held a video conference training session for residents of dormitory No. 13 on the topic: "Ensuring fire safety in student dormitories".
At the beginning of the event, the dean of the faculty Irina Sopilko addressed the audience, who congratulated the participants and noted the relevance of the event, since ensuring fire safety in student dormitories is an important component of organizational work with students.
During the training, the leading engineer of the Department of Civil Protection, Fire and Environmental Safety Andriy Ignatko r, revealed the main provisions of the fire safety rules for higher education applicants living in dormitories. In particular, he noted, fire safety is ensured by carrying out organizational measures and technical means aimed at preventing fires, ensuring the safety of people, reducing possible property losses and reducing negative environmental consequences in the event of their occurrence, creating conditions for successful fire extinguishing. In addition, he drew the attention of those present to the Prevention of violations of fire safety rules by students, gave negative examples and consequences of fires, and recalled the rules for using technical fire protection equipment. During the training, students were interested in safety rules and students ' actions in the event of a fire.
Such explanatory measures with students help prevent the occurrence of fires, compliance with fire safety rules by all participants in the educational process.
