On June 22, 2020, the final meeting of the Mediation Center was held, which is dedicated to the prevention of delinquency in the student environment, the formation of civic position and national consciousness of students.
Volodymyr Parniuk, a student of the PR-102M group, prepared a report on "Drugs and drug addiction in Ukraine as reasons for committing crimes." During his speech, he noted that alcoholism and drug addiction can be considered diseases that affect the human body, which pose a threat of crime, because these substances can affect the mental state. In my opinion, Volodymyr noted, drug use and excessive alcohol use are not only harmful to one's own health, but can be a threat to others. Oleksandr Mandryka, a student of the PR-102M group, researched the topic "Administrative responsibility of young people for offenses that encroach on public order and safety", in which he focused on the types of offenses and the specifics of administrative liability of minors.
Vladislav Geleshko, a student of the PR-402 group, opened the topic dedicated to the Day of Kyiv - "Kyiv - the capital of Ukraine", reminded the audience of the history of Kyiv and presented the famous historical and cultural monuments of the capital.
Victoria Palamarchuk, a student of the PR-101 group, offered an interesting report on the Constitution Day of Ukraine, which is celebrated on June 28. In her speech, she focused on the history of the constitutional process in Ukraine, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, made a selection of interesting facts about the constitutions of various countries.
Such measures are a guarantee of crime prevention among young people, form a cognitive interest in the historical past of our state, a high civic position and national consciousness.
