On June 26, 2020, the final meetings of the following groups were organized in the 2019-2020 academic year: the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure – “Criminalistics” under the leadership of Associate Professor Julia Lantsedova and “Actual Problems of Criminal Procedure” under the leadership of Professor Petro Bilenchuk; the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law “Constitutional Law of Ukraine” under the leadership of Professor Julia Yurynets and “International Public Law Issues” under the guidance of Senior Lecturer Oksana Myronets in an online format.
During the final meetings of the circles of the Department of Criminal Law, the reports of the participants – the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Law, who presented short results of their work in relevant areas, and summed up the activities of the circles for 2019-2020 academic year.
At the final meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law reports of 1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Law, which addressed topical issues of modern constitutionalism, the role of law in life and society as well as International Public Law current issues and prospects for their solution were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the results of the groups’ activities for the 2019-2020 academic year were summed up and the best scientific works of students were identified, which are recommended for publication in scientific journals and collections of theses of international scientific conferences.
The scientific work of students is an important stage in the training of qualified specialists, and active work in student scientific circles allows to significantly increase the amount of acquired knowledge and obtain information about modern research in the field of legal science.
