May 15, 2020, the final online meeting of the scientific groups of the Department of Civil Law and the Process "Actual Issues of Intellectual Property Law" and "Actual Issues of Civil Law" took place.
The event was attended by all representatives of the department. At the final meeting of the scientific groups, reports of students of the 2nd to 4th years of the Faculty of Law were heard. The subjects of the overwhelming majority of the meetings on civil law dealt with issues of contractual obligations, legal regulation of relevant relations, civil legal capacity and legal capability. The topics of the meetings of the group on intellectual property issues were devoted to the problems of copyright and related rights, relations regarding websites and domain names, conflicts in the field of industrial property law and other most relevant issues of civil law science.
At the end of the meeting, the results of the activities of the groups for the 2019-2020 academic year were summarized and the best scientific works of students were determined. These materials were recommended for publication in scientific journals, in particular in the Law Journal of the Faculty of Law of NAU and in the materials of international scientific conferences.
The scientific work of students in groups is an important stage in the preparation of qualified specialists in the field of law. Their activity in the work of scientific groups is a direct way to rooting and expanding a large scope of knowledge about modern trends in legal science.
