At the beginning of the 2nd semester Iryna Pokhylenko, associate professor of the Department of Commercial, Air and Space Law, Faculty of Law, held a meeting of the Scientific student group «Air and Space Law» in the Training Hangar of the National Aviation University.
During the meeting, students were able to put into practice the knowledge they gained while studying general aviation course. Participants of the group saw aircrafts: AN-24, Tu-154, Yak-42, L-410, AN-2, helicopters: Mi-8, Mi-2, Mi-4, Ka-26, and sat at the helm of some of them . Gas turbine aircraft engines D-20P, NK-12MV, NK-8-2u are presented separately.
In Aviation Training Hangar there is an unique - one of the world first all-metal aircraft designed by Tupolev ANT-7 of 1929 year of production - the world's only surviving ANT-7. On the basis of Training Hangar for the years of its operation have been educated and raised their professional level of about 250 000 aviation experts and pilots from Ukraine, former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
