On January 29, 2019, students of the academic groups PR-201, PR-203, PR-204 of the Faculty of Law together with their mentors Iryna Litvinova, Anna Rybikova and Lilia Grekova held a joint event for the Day of Unity of Ukraine.
Unification Day holds a special place in the history of Ukraine's formation, as it was on January 22, 1919, that a solemn meeting took place in Sofia Square. It was on this day that the Act of Union (unification) of Ukrainian lands was proclaimed, certified by the Universal on unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic into a single state, with a single national emblem - a trident.
During the event, students together with their mentors viewed a documentary on the topic: "Ukraine - Cathedral". During the discussion, the mentors stated that the notion of "catholicity" should be understood above all as the spiritual unity of Ukrainians, without such an understanding the notion of "catholicity" would not have its own meaning.
This event was held in order to honor national courage and dedication, the spirit of outstanding Ukrainians, which changed the course of Ukrainian history.
