On December 18, 2019, the Department of Theory and History of State and Law and the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law conducted an annual educational-informational event for foreign students “Festival of Traditions” at the Faculty of Law.
The welcome speech was made by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Juridical Science, Professor Rostyslav Kalyuzhnyi, Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Doctor of Juridical Science, Professor Ivan Borodin, Head of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law, Ph.D. in Law, Professor Yuriy Pyvovar.
The participants of the event were students of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Design of National Aviation University. They told about traditions, cultural features and holidays of the countries such as Egypt, Nigeria, Congo, Libya, Pakistan, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, and others.
This year, guests of the festival from the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative, Financial and Informational Law of the Faculty of International Trade and Law Anna Hurzhii made an interesting presentation, and the 2nd year student of this faculty Davron Yusupov revealed the cookery, cultural traditions and architectural features of Uzbekistan.
Traditionally, the event was conducted in three languages. Foreign students presented their reports in Ukrainian and Russian. Senior Lecturer of the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law Oksana Myronets translated the speeches of the staff into English.
The participants of the festival received a lot of positive emotions, discussed differences of cultures, shared impressions of what they heard, met new friends, and at the end of the event were rewarded with thanks.
