On November 18, 2019, in the educational laboratory of methodological following of educational process of Law Faculty, the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law held an exhibition on the topic: “Administrative and legal regulation in the sphere of national security”.
The national security is always an actual issue, which means protection of vital interests of an individual and a citizen, society and state, which ensures sustainable development of society, timely detection, prevention and neutralization of real and potential threats to national interests. The effectiveness of state regulation in terms of protecting national interests and guaranteeing the security of an individual, society and state from external and internal threats remains problematic, so the purpose of the event was to familiarize students with the scientific normative and legal literature in the field of national security.
Within the framework of this event, deputy chief of the Military-mobilization unit of NAU Oleksandr Kostiuchenko made an interesting and instructive report for the students of Law Faculty. The state bodies and their powers in the sphere of national security and defense were determined and delineated, and it was also outlined, how the Law on National Security was implemented in NAU as a whole.
Associate professor of the Constitutional and Administrative Law Department of Law Faculty Olha Husar emphasized that in the science of administrative law, the conceptual and methodological foundations of administrative and legal nature of national security, the system of management and administrative and legal status of its subjects, the exercise of state control in this sphere remained insufficiently studied.
