On November 25, 2019, Natalia Pilgun Associate Professor of theory and history of government and law of the Law faculty introduced a lecture on theme «The role of legal culture in the youth community» for pupils of 11 grade Gymnasium №19 Podilskiy' district of city Kyiv and lecture on theme «Legal education of young people in the modern word» for pupils of 10-11 grades School №17 of city Kyiv.
Within the framework of the vocational guidance the students discussed the issues of students' consciousness and peculiarities of its formation in modern conditions. It was noted that the legal culture of personality characterizes the degree and nature of legal development of young people.
It is formed gradually under the influence of various factors: the legal culture of society, legal education, legal education, own legal experience, legal communication.
It was pointed out that there is also a legal counterculture, as the totality of values of certain groups among young people who oppose and contradict the dominant legal culture in society. In particular, it is a culture of criminal gangs among young people.
